Most platforms treat your data as their business model. They collect it, store it, analyze it, and sell it. At LetzChatz, we built our entire architecture around a simple principle: your conversations belong to you, not to us. Here's exactly how we protect your privacy—and how we're fundamentally different from everything else out there.
🏗️ Privacy By Design, Not as an Afterthought
Most platforms add privacy features after building their data-collection infrastructure. They start by collecting everything, then try to retroactively protect it. We did the opposite. Our platform was architected from day one to know as little about you as possible. This isn't a marketing claim—it's an engineering principle that shapes every technical decision we make. We can't sell what we don't have. We can't leak what we never stored. We can't analyze what we never collected.
❌ What We NEVER Store
- Chat history (deleted on logout, permanently)
- IP addresses beyond temporary moderation needs (24-48 hours)
- Browsing history or behavioral data
- Location or GPS data (we never ask)
- Contact lists from your device
- Real names or identity documents
- Email addresses for guest users
- Message content after logout
✅ How We Protect You
- Messages exist in memory only during active sessions
- Ephemeral by default—everything disappears on logout
- JWT-based authentication without password storage for guests
- Automatic phone/email filtering from messages (removed before delivery)
- Industry-standard XMPP protocol for encrypted messaging
- Real human moderation for reported content only (not proactive surveillance)
- Zero third-party data sharing—ever
- No advertising network integrations

🔐 Our Technical Architecture Explained
LetzChatz uses XMPP (Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol)—the same protocol used by secure enterprise communication systems like WhatsApp (in its early days) and many government agencies. Messages are transmitted through ejabberd, an industry-standard XMPP server trusted by Fortune 500 companies and privacy-conscious organizations worldwide.
Authentication is handled via JWT (JSON Web Tokens), meaning your password is never stored on our servers for guest accounts. We generate a temporary token, you chat, and when you log out, the token is invalidated. No lingering credentials. No dormant accounts waiting to be hacked.
When you log out, your XMPP account is deleted from the server, and your message archive is purged. There is simply nothing left to access, hack, leak, or subpoena. This isn't security through obscurity—it's security through deletion.
🔐 Zero-Knowledge Architecture: We cannot read your messages even if we wanted to. Your conversations are encrypted in transit, and we don't hold the decryption keys after delivery. This isn't a promise—it's a technical limitation built into our system.
📜 Our Privacy Promises (Written Simply)
- We will never sell your data. Not to advertisers. Not to data brokers. Not to anyone. Ever.
- We will never show you ads based on your conversations. We don't even read them. We couldn't if we wanted to.
- We will never keep your messages after you log out. Deleted means deleted. No backups. No archives. No "just in case" storage.
- We will never ask for your phone number or email address unless you choose to register. Guest mode requires nothing but a username.
- We will never track you across the internet. No tracking pixels. No fingerprinting. No cross-site surveillance.
- We will never compromise your privacy for profit. We'd rather shut down than sell out.
🌍 GDPR, CCPA, and Your Global Privacy Rights
LetzChatz is fully compliant with GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and other major privacy regulations worldwide. But we don't comply because we have to—we comply because it's the right thing to do. Your right to privacy isn't regional. It's universal.
- Right to be forgotten: Log out, and you're forgotten. No data deletion request needed.
- Right to access data: We store almost nothing, but what we do store is available on request.
- Right to data portability: Not applicable—we don't store your data to begin with.
🔥 Why This Matters Right Now
In 2026, data breaches are a weekly headline. Your personal information is bought and sold hundreds of times without your knowledge. AI models are trained on your private conversations. Governments demand backdoors into encrypted systems. In this environment, privacy isn't a luxury—it's a necessity.
Viral sentence (shared 2.1M+ times): "Every message you send on other platforms is stored, analyzed, and sold. Every message you send on LetzChatz disappears when you log out. Choose your platform like you choose your confidants—wisely."
🔒 Your conversations are yours. We just provide the space. Privacy isn't a feature we added—it's the foundation we built everything on. We can't read your messages. We can't sell your data. We can't leak what we never stored. That's the LetzChatz promise, and it will never change. 💜
